We’re only days away from revealing the cover of the first Tank Moto issue, and already we have our first TANK tee design available ready to go..
The design has been developed from an illustration by San Francisco artist Jim Phillips. Jim worked for Santa Cruz Skateboards over the decades amongst other companies including Tracy Fibreglass Works. As we have a full history story on TFW and a photo shoot of a Tracy motorcycle, it was a perfect choice to use one of Jim’s designs.
The bad news is, they are not ready to ship just yet. We have had to offer them as a pre-order for this first print run. As TANK is such a young project, funds are tight and so we need the pre-orders to help us to process a decent size print run. If we get the quota up, we will be able to have shirts available at the TANK launch event in a couple of weeks, and in stock online after that.
We are offering the Big Mutha in white or black using well-fitting, good quality AS shirts with a small TM helmet logo on the back, up near the collar. If you are a big fan of back prints, email us and we will buy the shirt printer a shandy and see what he can do..
