“The Vern Luce Coupe is the only car that Boyd ever wanted back” is what Jo Coddington told us in a recent interview with her. The VLC was the first car that put Boyd on the map in 1981, and has recently been fully restored by Gary Brown right here in Melbourne.
We managed to catch a few hours with Gary and the car in it’s freshly restored state just before it was off on a 747 to the States where it is currently spending 12 months on a tour of duty at various events over there. Find our full story and photoshoot of the car in issue 13 of Fuel Magazine.
